The Sophie Lancaster Foundation
The Sophie Lancaster Foundation: Since Sophie's death on August 24th 2007, following the horrific attack on her and her partner Rob in Stubbeylee Park, Bacup, Lancashire, we have had lots of kind offers of support and donations. Sophie and Rob dressed in their unique way, expressing their individuality as creative artistic people.

WNBR book project media request (final call)
Hi folks,
The latest NAKTIV project is a book about the WNBR - World Naked Bike Ride (project page: http://www.naktiv.net/wnbr). Some on the list might know me already as an author, naked activist and enthusiast - more info on me and this project can be found in the reference links below. NB. The deadline for contributions is end of September 2011.
Now is the perfect time to be sorting out the photos and the stories, to produce a work which showcases the WNBR in all it's forms; environmental protest, naked activist, public statement and private commitment, etc. Both author (http://www.naktiv.net) and publisher (http://www.nacktiv.de) are commited to promoting future WNBR events.
The WNBR story can only be told if the participants contribute from their archives. For this project, we are particularly looking for contributions in the form of interesting stories, representative high quality photographs, notable facts, and interesting anecdotes, about the event. If you're interested in helping to provide relevant material, or have any helpful suggestions, I would be very pleased to hear from every individual. There's a new naked hiking book out. Written by Nicole Wunram, it's aimed at the apprentice, or aspirant, naked hiker. Although it's in German, (and called "Nacktwandern"), I think it's good to see more books on the theme of naked activities being published in main stream sources, and if you don't understand the language, you can always look at the pictures. Co-worker spots naked video on TV
On my arrival at work the other day, a co-worker said to me: "I was watching TV the other night, Paul Merton was chatting to some naked ten-pin bowling group, and there you were, stark naked on TV! Kudos to you for having the guts to do that!" I took that as a compliment :-)
